Founded in 2008, the EcoChamber (www.ecochamber.com) is the first and only global green chamber of commerce. A non-profit, the chamber of commerce’s mission is helping green businesses grow by connecting them with investors, customers and stakeholders as well as encouraging other companies to become environmentally responsible by implementing sustainable practices. The EcoChamber has members in over 18 countries and 42 states and offers resources and tools to help companies do business in a more sustainable yet profitable way and also provides assistance in helping them earn their green certification.
The EcoChamber is the first global green chamber of commerce dedicated to helping organizations create and implement sustainable business practices while counseling them on how to make sound and profitable business decisions driven by the new “Green Economy.” In short, the EcoChamber has six key initiatives:
- Help companies and governments take additional eco-friendly steps while improving their budget through analysis and tracking tools.
- Help those who are already green or taking steps in the right direction to thrive through business development and marketing tools.
- Work to ensure governments are creating legislation that is good for environment while still supporting jobs and businesses.
- Help to build and support the next generation of environmental leaders through free student programs.
- Share best practices across the globe between industries and governments, helping progress be more rapid and readily adopted.
- Unify fragmented eco industries to create a louder, more powerful voice for advancement.
We serve to help our members grow, gain recognition, and prosper by championing economic prosperity, stewardship of our lands, and quality of life. The EcoChamber will help you accomplish the goals that are most important to you. We will help you gain recognition for your environmental leadership, boost your business, raise your impact, and lift your community.
As the foremost voice for sustainable practices, we will be the driving force for environmentally friendly progress and prosperity by helping encourage the adoption of responsible environmental actions across public and private sectors.
The EcoChamber’s mission is to serve our members through advocating, promoting, and being a resource for sustainable practices on a local, national, and global level. This will improve not only our environment, but also our economy and quality of living as a whole.
The EcoChamber is a member-driven organization where businesses and groups come together as a unified voice in the economic, political, educational, and advocacy areas for the betterment of the environment, economy, and community.
